Passport Advantage

• Passport Advantage is IBM’s comprehensive software licensing and software maintenance (product upgrades and technical support) program. It’s designed for larger enterprises that may have multiple sites. Passport Advantage gives you more opportunities to obtain better pricing. Passport Advantage offers better pricing for your volume purchases over time and is based on your Relationship Suggested Volume Price (RSVP) level. You can qualify for even better pricing based on the size of individual transactions, including purchases from select Independent Software Vendors.

License level and point scale

• Passport Advantage Express is designed for single-site, smaller enterprise businesses. It combines the full Passport Advantage product list with the simplicity of transaction-based acquisition. Passport Advantage Express does not require a relationship agreement; each transaction is subject to the terms and conditions effective at the time. There are no points and no aggregating, just a single price level. And with each new license acquisition, you receive renewable Software Maintenance.

Passport Advantage Online

All Passport Advantage and Passport Advantage Express end-user customers have secure access to Passport Advantage Online, which provides the latest program information, plus access to a wide array of tools to help manage Passport Advantage accounts.

• Software download and media access - allows you to obtain product upgrades that are covered under Software Subscription and Support (also referred to as Software Maintenance). These licenses can be downloaded or ordered on physical media (e.g., CD).
• Reporting - generate reports of your account activity. These reports may be viewed online and/or downloaded.
• Active entitlements - search your active entitlements by entitlement type (e.g. purchased, renewed, allocated).
• Order history - search orders placed by your sites; you may search by order type (e.g., purchased, renewed, allocated) or date.
• Migration history - search migrations completed by your sites; you may search by date.
• Downloads history - search downloads completed by your sites; you may search by date.

Entitlements

• View Proof of Entitlement certificate - view proof of entitlement certificates for your site’s software licenses.
• View entitlement allocations - view the current allocation of license entitlements for your site.
