Search Results screen

The Search Results screen displays all products that match the criteria entered on the product search screen. Products found are displayed by relevance as the default in groups of ten per page.

Market Assignments Information.

There are options at the top of each page to display subsequent pages and alter the view:

Option Explanation
Sort Order A selection list that enables you to change the sequence in which the results are displayed. The options are:
 
Sort/Explanation
Relevance — Sorts by the relevance of the item to the category or search criteria entered. The most popular products in this category will display first.
Description — Sorts by the first word in the product description.
Price — Sorts by unit price, least expensive first.
Mfr. Name — Sorts by manufacturer name, numbers first, then alphabetically.
Mfr. Part Number — Sorts by manufacturer part number, lowest number first.
TD Part Number — Sorts by Tech Data part number, lowest number first.
Filter
Search Results		 Some types of searches will yield results that you may want to filter further. The options are:
 
Filter/Explanation
Show In
Stock Only — Displays only those products that Tech Data has in-stock and ready for immediate delivery.
The following filters only apply to the legacy Category Search and Category Map search reults:
In Stock
including drop ship — Allows you to filter your results to show only those products that are in stock and also drop shippable from the manufacturer.
In Stock
excluding drop ship — Allows you to filter your results to show only those products that are in stock excluding those that can be drop shipped from the manufacturer.
Drop Ship — Allows you to filter your results to show only those product that are drop shippable from the manufacturer.

At the left side of the page:
Data Explanation
Tech Data part number The part number used by Tech Data in plain bright-blue type is a hyperlink to the Product Detail screen.
Mfr. Part# The part number used by the manufacturer in bold dark-blue type.
UPC code The UPC (Universal Product Code) for the product in plain black type.
Inventory status One of six inventory status codes assigned by Tech Data displayed in bright red type within parenthesis().
Manufacturer name The name of the manufacturer in green type.
Description The manufacturer's description of the product.
Details A plum colored hyperlink to the Product Detail screen.
At the right side of the page:
Data Explanation
Availability information The combined quantity on-hand in all Tech Data warehouses at the close of the previous day's business. The number is a bold red hyperlink to real-time inventory information for each warehouse. If the word "Call" appears in this column (even though it is a hyperlink), please call your sales representative for the real-time information.
Quantity box Accepts the number of units of the product that you want to add to the Shopping Cart.
Shopping Cart Icon The shopping cart icon adds the indicated number of units of the product to the Shopping Cart.
Favorites
Icon		 The Favorites icon allows you to add an item to your favorites folder.
Promotion icon Indicates that a sales promotion is underway for this product. If this icon appears, the price listed is the lowest possible price under the terms of the promotion.

Price Your customer-specific price (your cost from Tech Data) in bold green type.
